Back from Hanoi like a month ago, but m too busy to write a post about it... my wrong, really...
So now start it up with the 1st meal we had there and blinc my 1st impression of their food as well as "helping" me to gain weight... Thank you so much...><
The shop and the food both named Bun Cha. "Bún chả is a Vietnamese dish, a grilled pork noodle soup, which is thought to have originated from Hanoi" according to wikipedia. But for me, it's not just a grilled pork noodle soup... is a really yummy grilled pork noodle soup... just by thinking, my airliur already wan keluar de...
When we walked in the shop, one young girl asked "how many" and show us to go up stair for more seats. On the left hand side of the shop, you can see the taukesou is busy preparing the 'bun' (white rice noodle) and 'cha' (grilled pork).
For me, this Bun Cha thingy is really like a semi buffet style, where you can see the vege (mix of different different vege), the white rice noodle and the extra soup, were ready served on the table. all these you can take the amount you wan as you like...

The mixed vege... most of it is the "smelly vege" which i scared of the smell itself...
Our Bak Kut Teh can add soup on request, or some shop are so nice, keep an eye on your soup and add on automatically. For Bun Cha, the extra soup already ready served on each and every table. Still can figure out what is it inside the soup.. but we think they are the sliced mango... and it goes with the fish sauce... sweet sweet and sour sour make it so "Kai Wei"
Their main food, same importance as rice, The "BUN" - white rice noodle...
Their english is not so good, or can said most of the vietnamese people cant really speak english, so we can hardly place our order and just take what they give... =.='''' In like a minute or less, the girl brought up the "Star" of the dish----------------------> The "CHA"
Our eyes were opened sooooooo big when the grilled pork soup was served. the portion was sooo big that we dont think we can finish it . But really... it was so so nice and we did finish it 1 person 1 bowl.
The girl also bring up 2 plate of spring roll, also their traditional food.... and until now i still cant forget how yum yum it was.............. :D
At 1st, we all were just starring at the food and donno how to begin with. The girl was nice enough to show us the traditional way of eating it... or actually there is not a step, you just simply put in and add the things you wan in to a small bowl and serve yourself. Highly recommended to add in the cili padi.. the combination is so well, and make me really eat like a cow... ><
The Done mixing Bun Cha...
The scene that I was when our stomach is like going to explode.... lucky we already done eating, if not sure keep calculating the calories...
A must must must try food in Hanoi, Vietnam.... you will regret if u never try!!!
Till then........
