Bonjourno~~~

Since this is a "fly-ing" blog, i think i should start blogging some "fly-ing" things~~~ ^^

Ever since donno which trip (I can hardly remember now), i hv the habit of bring along my travel diary to wrote down every single place i had visited or restaurant that i had my meals at....

So let start with the most recent trip that i had, the most recent place i stepped in, the fresh-est memories that i had...... deng deng deng deng~~~~~~

ITALY!!!!

I went there in Aug 2011 for the nasional day holiday.... It was summer there, so the good thing is u no need to pack so so so much n thick thick clothes n jacket, n afraid that u may miss out something dat will coz u cold to dead.... was joining a tour group coz my parents can hardly go on so called free and easy or bag-packing...

The group that v joined was really big.... consist of all 40 of us, plus 1 tour guide.... Oh ya.... too bad v din even hv a local italian tour guide as they wan to save cost i think.....

The tour leader is a girl, and she was like started to kelam-kabut ever since v checking-in in the airport.... Soooo mess-up until my dad oso need to sacrified his dinner to help up with all the luggage.... =.=''''

Arrived in Zurich in the afternoon, and we were supposing-ly to hv a half day Switzerland tour which ended up we experiencing the worst traffic jam i ever had.... I mean the worst should be in Cairo bcoz there was like no traffic rules at all.... but in Switzerland was very follow the rules, all cars are in line, even the emergency lane was clear, i mean in msia who will clear out emergency lane when jam????? no way!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the worst part of the jam is all cars stopped at the same place for an hour or more and people r actually coming out of car n start made friends....

C... V even hv time n space to do jump shoot.... :p

The terrible jam caused most of the group members can stand n really in rush to toilet, hv no choice but to pee in the bus toilet.... The impact was reallllllll big, coz it caused the whole bus was so so so smelly for almost the entire trip.....

V arrived Lugano Lake in the evening.... the weather was just nice... a bit windy but not so cold.... There is a bar right besind the lake, which remind me of "Baywatch", I just love it so much~~~~ ^^

Then v went to a factory outlet named "FOX TOWN", which i find nothing interesting about....

After dat, we went all the way to Milan and checked in the hotel "Deraju"....

Day2 was a whole Milan day.... We went to the Duomo and Glass-domed Galleria..... Suppose to be a branded shopping heaven, but we was a bit early there, so most of the shops were only open by the time we almost going to left... but is still okie for me, coz i quite enjoy the interior there and photos shooting ther... :p

Had the best lasagna i ever had for lunch at Lo Zingaro.... in italy, people r hving lasagna as starter, but v had as main course here in msia.... then the juicy chicken as main n yum yum tiramisu for dessert.....

Outside the restaurant

The most no-need to visit place i think through the trip is the Romeo & Juliet Balcony.... I rather walk around the street, hv some sight-seeing, doing some shopping n hv the yum yum gelato~~~

Day 3 was spent in Venice.... Which i always dream to be there, and how romantic there would be... but ended up, i was quite disappointed.... Mayb bcoz of the weather, or bcoz of the crowd, or mayb the commercial problem, it was just not i wat i imagine and dream of.... Had gondola ride, which bring us look through this small piece of land...

The handsome boat-driver

Sight-bridge that really make ppl sight

On gondola

Hv some shopping after the gondola ride, and bought 2 piece of drawings from a local artist.... 1st time going into all those branded shops like Gucci, Prada, LV, etc etc etc.... U name it.....

For the lunch, v had the squid ink spaghetti... it's the 1st time for me, n i totally fall in love with it... met the waiter in dat restaurant, he keep following wat we said, even he don understand.... quite funny and a very pleasant afternoon.... :)

The Squid ink spaghetti

Fried Sea Food

Garden Salad.... Yum Yum....

Gelato

The "Talking Tom" :p

Then we had some tea at a restaurant at the St Mark's Square.... Enjoying the sun, the architectural, and the people.... ^^

U know wat i love the most of the hotel breakfast in Italy.... The fresh brew coffee that serve with the fresh milk.... it will be readily serve on the table every morning.... they really make my day n i love it so so much.... ^^

Day 4...After breakfast, we proceed to the Michealangelo Square.... for the famous statute of David, but i enjoyed the beautiful scenery more... n we were just so lucky to meet a "just-married" couple hving their wedding ceremony in a church there....

"just-married" couple... lovely....

Then we went to the Florence old town... hv a walking journey covered doumo, ponte vecchio, and piazza sante croce.... Had chinese food at a restaurant named "Peking".... Then the tour leader was trying to show us the best steak she ever had in florence.... i was trying to snap a photo outside the steak house, and a guy bumped up from behind and took a photo with me... i was quite shock.... then when he left, all the uncles from our group were asking," u got anything thing lost or not", "is all ur things okie?" ... i mean not all of them are bad, n all my things r save..... ^^

the guy... :)

we ended up hving steak at La Borsa.. becoz the restaurant dat de tour leader recommended was closed...  but the food there was sooooo nice, especially the steak..... yummmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....

Day 5 was a whole "bus sitting" day.... The only POI dat we visited was Pisa... U will find people posed very very funny there, had push, leg kick, head lead, etc etc... Then we went for lunch with lagsana, but i preferred the 1st restaurant, followed by pork slides with potatos, and gelato as dessert.... Then we proceeded to Rome....

Day 6 in Rome.... Was a bit disappointed, bcoz our focus is on the history and architectural of Rome, but most of the other group members r on branded shopping... Been to Vatican city, the smallest country in the world... Then to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps....It was the last day we at Italy, so the night we went for supper at the hotel restaurant and we really being amazed.... We had draft beer to go with steak and grilled squid.... so so yummyyyyyy.....

I really really n truly wanna to be back to Italy again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
